Dr. Zac Berry is a passionate and exceptionally talented dentist who says the most important part of his job is the connections he has with his patients. Only by understanding someone on a personal level can you provide someone the exact dental care that they need.
Dr. Berry always thought growing up that he wanted to be in medicine, but on his first day shadowing a dentist, he knew he had found his true passion.
“I knew right away as he extracted several teeth that this was my path – it was incredible – it opened my mind to how much dentistry could do!”
Dr Berry soon realized that dentistry was a profession that would allow him to fully dive into his passion, connecting with patients and giving them the confidence they need through a smile. He had the added benefit of spending quality time with his family and the community he loves– it was a perfect fit!
Dr. Berry received his B.S. degree in Biology from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where he was also a four year starter on their soccer team. He went on to receive his DDS (Doctorate of Dental Surgery) from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry.
Following dental school, Dr. Berry went on to further his dental education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry for a General Practice Residency Program. Here he gained further experience in advanced oral surgery, implants, sedation dentistry, cosmetics, and caring for patients with complex medical histories. Four years after completing his residency in Birmingham, Dr. Berry and his family moved back home to Mt. Juliet where he purchased Mt. Juliet Family Dentistry, which is now Berry Dental Group.
When not at the office, you can find Dr. Berry with his wife Leah and their two children either hiking, walking, or playing in the creek by their house – they love being outside! Every chance they get, he and Leah love to go to the mountains where they hike, ski, or snowboard.

Texas raised, Tennessee rooted. I moved here during my senior year of high school and have loved calling Tennessee home ever since. I’ve been in the dental field for years and enjoy connecting with people while bringing a positive attitude to everything I do. Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy traveling, beach trips, and making memories together.
Sarah is a dental assistant who is known as the team member most likely to brighten your day! Sarah is always smiling and quick with a compliment while she provides excellent chairside assistance for our doctors. . Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, making memories with family and friends, and staying active through new experiences and adventures.
NiKayla is a Dental Hygienist and Treatment Coordinator who has been practicing since 2018. She is passionate about creating a warm, comfortable experience for every patient. Since graduating in 2018, she has loved helping patients feel confident in their smiles with building lasting relationships. Outside of the office, NiKayla enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys, Lincoln and Malakai.
With over 10 years of experience in the dental field, I have grown from working at the front desk to serving as a Treatment Coordinator. That journey has given me a deep understanding of both patient care and the importance of creating a welcoming, positive experience from start to finish.
I truly love what I do and enjoy helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their treatment. Building relationships with patients and guiding them through their dental journey is the most rewarding part of my career. My goal is to make every visit as smooth and stress-free as possible while helping each patient achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.
Mackenzie is one of our dental hygienists and has been practicing since May of 2024. She graduated from South College Nashville and has lived in Lebanon, TN all her life. Mackenzie is a farmers’ wife to her high school sweetheart and has a Labrador retriever named Bo. Mackenzie’s favorite part about being a dental hygienist is getting to meet so many new people and helping patients feel confident and happy with their smiles. She loves building relationships with patients and making every visit a comfortable, positive experience!
Julia is a Hygienist that completed her degree in Dental Hygiene at South College, Nashville. After graduating in 2024, she has enjoyed educating and encouraging patients throughout their dental journeys. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their care while building long-term relationships based on trust and compassion. Julia grew up locally and still resides in Mount Juliet with her husband, Sage. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her two dogs
With 28 years of experience in the dental field, I am passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for through their dental experience over the years. I have built relationships by combining compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail. I take pride in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel supported while receiving high quality care. My goal is to help people achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Rubi was born and raised in Middle Tennessee and is proud to serve the community she calls home. She attended Dental Staff School of Tennessee in Franklin and began her dental career in 2016 as a dental assistant, gaining experience in general dentistry, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. In 2022, she further advanced her skills by completing the Expanded Functions Dental Assistant program at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville. Rubi is passionate about providing exceptional patient care while utilizing her expanded skill set and years of experience.
Nathalie has been an amazing asset to this practice since 2020. She is our guru when it comes to all things insurance, scheduling, and management. She has been in the dental field for almost 10 years, and loves to take on any challenge.
She comes to us from Dallas, Texas, so she is a diehard Cowboys fan. You'll catch her cheering on her favorite teams on the weekend, or exploring the city with friends in her free time.
Mary is a proud mother of one daughter, whom she loves spending time with. Mary joined this Dental office in 2009 and is a Registered Dental Assistant with expanded functions in restorative dentistry. She is also certified in nitrous oxide monitoring, sealants, coronal polishing, and radiology.
Mary is a graduate of Tennessee Technology Center of Murfreesboro. Mary’s years of experience and leadership are a huge benefit to our practice. Patients always ask us if Mary will be here for their procedure!
In her spare time, Mary enjoys shopping, long walks, exercising, biking and spending time with her family and friends.
Angela is a Registered Dental Hygienist that grew up just down the road in Gallatin, TN. She attended Western Kentucky for her Hygiene degree, and has been a valuable team member with us since 2019. Angela loves to take the extra time to teach and coach our patients on how they can improve their oral health.
She loves to spend her free time exploring the outdoors around Nashville, and traveling to new exciting places.

Next you will be taken back to the treatment room to see the hygienist for a thorough cleaning before Dr. Berry greets you for a comprehensive exam. He will discuss any health concerns or other issues you may have, and together you will discuss a customized treatment plan that fits your specific needs and budget. All that’s left to do is return to the front desk and schedule any follow-up appointments with our friendly team members.
